Cookies and similar technologies
Your preferences. If you choose light or dark mode, or turn the homepage music on or off, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Meta Pixel. A tool from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells us how many people visit our pages and take actions such as joining the newsletter or clicking to buy or book, so we can measure and improve our adverts. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account, as described in Meta’s privacy policy.
Microsoft Clarity. A tool from Microsoft that shows us how visitors use our pages, through heatmaps and recordings of clicks, scrolling and movement on the page, so we can make the website easier to use. Text typed into forms is hidden from these recordings. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Your choices
If you are in the UK or Europe, these tools only run after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Everywhere else they run unless you choose No thanks. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and you can also block cookies in your browser’s settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act 2023 and UK and EU data protection law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@familyhouseafrica.com.
